Standard CFU calculation (version 2.4)

The standard CFU calculation is a program used to calculate the number of microorganisms in food, feed, soil, water, or any other microbiological samples. It is created to help working staffs in standard microbiological laboratories to compute raw data generated from the number of CFU (Colony Forming Unit) counted directly from agar plates, interpret the results of both common and uncommon values, and select the best choice for reporting the number of microorganisms in standard formats corresponding to the two international standards; BAM (Bacteriological Analytical Manual) Chapter 3 Aerobic Plate Count, and ISO 7218:2007 / Amd.1:2003. The program also applies ISO 14461-2:2005|IDF 169-2:2005 as a co-function to evaluate the suitable CFU range between dilutions or duplicate plates in the same dilution. It is easy-to-use and includes the function of confidence interval to fulfill the validity of the report figures.

The standard CFU calculation program is protected by copyright (2018). It is free and can be downloaded from links below. For this version (v.2.4), the program was developed and distributed on 3 platforms: Windows, Mac OSX and Linux.

                      Double click on file “StandardCFUv2.4”. If double-click does not work, run it in terminal. Briefly, open terminal window, in command line, type dot, slash and filename as “. /StandardCFUv2.4” and click Enter.

On all platforms, security information on virus protection or program permission may appear. Users are needed to unlock and allow this program to be run on each computer operating system.

This standard CFU calculation (v.2.4) has replaced the previous version of v.2.3, which could be run only on Windows platform. Due to developing versions for Mac OSX and Linux, users for both OS may encounter the malfunction of printing report. However, saving report as a text file and printing it later using other suitable programs can help. Any problem can be reported via my email address. Suggestions or comments are welcome.

โปรแกรมการคำนวณจำนวนจุลินทรีย์ทั้งหมดตามมาตรฐานสากล

Standard CFU calculation คือโปรแกรมที่ใช้สำหรับการคำนวณหาจำนวนจุลินทรีย์ในอาหาร อาหารสัตว์ ดิน น้ำ หรือ ตัวอย่างวิเคราะห์ทางจุลชีววิทยาอื่นๆ โดยจะช่วยนักวิเคราะห์ในห้องปฏิบัติการมาตรฐานทางจุลชีวิทยาในการวิเคราะห์จำนวนโคโลนี (CFU; Colony Forming Unit) ที่นับได้จากจานเพาะเชื้อ ประยุกต์ใช้มาตรฐาน ISO 14461-2:2005 | IDF 169-2:2005 ในการประเมินช่วงความเหมาะสมของจำนวนโคโลนีระหว่างจานเพาะเชื้อและระหว่างลำดับความเจือจางที่คัดเลือกมา เลือกวิธีที่ดีที่สุดในการแปรผลค่าตัวเลขทั้งที่เป็นค่าปกติและไม่ปกติ คำนวณค่าและรายงานผลเป็นปริมาณจำนวนจุลินทรีย์ทั้งหมด (Standard Plate Count) ในรูปแบบมาตรฐานที่สอดคล้องกับมาตรฐานสากล BAM (Bacteriological Analytical Manual) Chapter 3 Aerobic Plate Count และ ISO 7218:2007 / Amd.1:2003 โดยสามารถรายงานช่วงของจำนวนโคโลนี (Confidence Interval) ที่ความเชื่อมั่น 95%

โปรแกรม Standard CFU calculation มีลิขสิทธิ์ถูกต้องตามกฎหมาย สามารถดาวน์โหลดได้ตามลิงค์ข้างล่างโดยไม่เสียค่าใช้จ่าย สำหรับเวอร์ชั่น 2.4 นี้ได้รับการพัฒนาให้สามารถใช้งานได้บน 3 แพลตฟอร์ม คือ Windows, Mac OSX และ Linux

บนระบบปฏิบัติการ Windows – ลิงค์สำหรับดาวน์โหลด
                      คลิ๊ก 2 ครั้ง บนไฟล์ “StandardCFUv2.4”

                      หลังจาก unzip คลิ๊กบนไฟล์ “StandardCFUv2.4”

บนระบบปฏิบัติการ Linux  – ลิงค์สำหรับดาวน์โหลด
                      คลิ๊ก 2 ครั้ง บนไฟล์ “StandardCFUv2.4” ในกรณีถ้าคลิ๊ก 2 ครั้ง ไม่สามารถรันโปรแกรมได้ ให้ผู้ใช้รันโปรแกรมใน terminal บน command line ภายในหน้าต่าง terminal ให้พิมพ์ จุด เครื่องหมายหาร ตามด้วยชื่อไฟล์ดังนี้ “. /StandardCFUv2.4” และกด Enter

การรันโปรแกรม Standard CFU calculation ในทุกระบบปฏิบัติการ ผู้ใช้อาจจะได้รับข้อความแจ้งเตือนจากระบบคอมพิวเตอร์ของตัวเองในเรื่องของความปลอดภัย ไวรัส หรือการขออนุญาต ซึ่งผู้ใช้งานต้องอนุญาตและ unlock ระบบความปลอดภัยที่เกี่ยวข้องกับไฟล์ดังกล่าวเพื่อให้โปรแกรมนี้สามารถรันบนระบบปฏิบัติที่เกี่ยวข้องได้

โปรแกรม Standard CFU calculation เวอร์ชั่น 2.4 นี้ออกมาแทนที่เวอร์ชั่น 2.3 ซึ่งสามารถรันได้บนระบบปฏิบัติการ Windows เท่านั้น เนื่องจากโปรแกรมเพิ่งได้รับการพัฒนาเพื่อนำมาใช้งานบนระบบปฏิบัติการ Mac OSX และ Linux เป็นครั้งแรก ผู้ใช้งานอาจจะพบปัญหาการสั่งพิมพ์รายงาน การบันทึกรายงานในรูปของ text file และนำออกมาพิมพ์ด้วยโปรแกรมอื่นที่ใช้พิมพ์งานในระบบปฏิบัติการที่เกี่ยวข้องก็จะสามารถช่วยแก้ปัญหาได้ อย่างไรก็ตามหากพบปัญหาจากการใช้งานหรือมีข้อติชม แนะนำ ประการใดสามารถติดต่อได้ตามที่อยู่อีเมลนี้
